Does what I needed! December 24, 2008 J. W. Robinson (Beautiful Upstate New York) I ordered this to turn on and off Heat tape on the roof of my house to melt the snow. I ordered 2 and they arrived promptly as Amazon always gets it right. However, one worked and the other did not. I went online and filled out the claim and printed the label for return. Amazon even paid the return shipping. As soon as you finish the return paperwork they ship you a replacement , so it was back in 2 days. Now everything works great. I see cheaper products out there but this seemed to be a little higher quality, so for a few bucks I went with the Skylink. I don't regret it. Heater remote. December 22, 2008 Rustee L. Shoffner (Indiana) This handles the electric fireplace that I had while another could not stand the heat and melted. This does the job great!
Worked....Kind of! December 20, 2008 Marlin21 (Central U.S.) Bought this to turn on outside lights. Worked well till the weather became colder. Then would only work occasionally. I use it indoors now and does what it's supposed to. Disapointed that it wouldn't work in the cold (says it works great for Xmas lights) but for the price what can you expect...
Garbage - Don't BUY IT December 14, 2008 W. Wulff (New Jersey) Don't buy this . . . Mine was defective from the start . . . just stuck on . . . will not turn off with remote. I am returning it for refund and going with another.
Impossible to set the channel! December 10, 2008 Paul Pedriana (California) The primary flaw of this device relative to the alternatives is that you cannot set the channel (A or B) of the device. It comes *manufactured* as A or B. And when I ordered two of them I got two A devices, which makes one of them virtually useless.
