5 out of 5 stars Nothing compares   November 16, 2008

Okay... I am a new dad but my wife has been working with kids for over ten years as a Nanny and this is the lock she likes best because it is the only cabnet door lock / drawer lock that DOES NOT REQUIRE A KEY and WILL NOT ALLOW a toddler to pinch his or her fingers. Safety 1st and Home Depot websites are useless. I hope amazon comes thru.

4 out of 5 stars Hard to install but more effective than most child locks   March 30, 2008

I have used these in the past but now have trouble finding them locally (Washington, DC area). I ordered online and got exactly what I wanted. The packaging has changed but the parts are identical. The product is hard to install - the two pieces have to be aligned just right - but it is reasonably effective at keeping small children out of cabinets and keeping doors/drawers from closing on their fingers.

5 out of 5 stars Great Protector of Little Fingers   January 6, 2007

Not only do these lock into place so that your child can't open drawers, but they don't allow you to push the drawer back in to prevent them from getting their fingers caught as they try to push the drawer back in. I wish I had found them sooner, but they've come in very handy as after one or two tries, my son gave up on the drawers. =)
