Great Item July 29, 2010 Hammer Have only had this for a couple weeks but think the quality is top notch. I have fired rounds through my AR 15 with the light attached and all is well. Great quality for the $$$$, Cant see why anyone would pay $200+ for high end lights.
Don't waste your money July 22, 2010 AZ Champ 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
You can't sight this thing in at all-- it's just for show. I e-mailed the company I bought it from and they had no explanation--or any knowledge of the english language.
Good light. But end cap remote pressure switch did not fit. June 26, 2010 E. J. Lock (Houston, TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Have owned this light since February 2010, and it is a good light @ a great value. However, even if you don't plan on using it as a tactical light, go ahead and immediately check the fitting of the remote pressure switch. Mine simply does not fit. The end cap does not screw down because the remote pressure switch assembly seems too long. It's June 2010 now, and I just dropped their Customer Service Dept. an email explaining the problem and requesting a replacement remote switch. So I'll update this review depending on their response to my inquiry.
UTG Defender Light June 19, 2010 Acebris (GA) The only bad thing about this light is that my velcro attachment for the remote switch kept coming off, I replaced it with some 3M double sided tape and never looked back.
I went ahead and gave the product 5 stars because the velcro issue wasn't worth deducting an entire star.
Unless you want to lay down $299.99 on Wicked Laser's "The Torch" flashlight, go ahead and get this light great price, great kit, great light.
Broken already!? May 27, 2010 Erik D. Woods (California) I purchased my light about 3 months ago, fired with it on a few times on my AR-15, and it seemed sturdy, it's bright and very impressive for the price. BUT, it randomly does NOT work anymore! I have no idea what happened, I tried switching the batteries, nothing, maybe the bulb burned out? I'm going to attempt to get another one sent for free. We'll see how that goes.
