Product Description
Police Magnum OC-17 Pepper Spray offers the most powerful concentration of pepper spray allowed by law. This is the same spray used by police officers. Each unit also includes UV dye for later identification of the perpetrator by law enforcement. The handy unit allows for one hand operation and can be used to provide multiple blasts up to 12 feet away. A suspect will be immediately affected with burning skin, coughing, watery eyes, runny nose, difficulty breathing but will have no permanent injuries. It is both non-toxic and non-flammable. Effective against: muggers, carjackers, rapists, vicious animals, etc.. The hard shell injected molded case features a keychain attachment. 2 per order.

Although the price was set at a stellar level, and although it came with two pepper mace spray for the price of one, I was not satisfied with the very meager distance and force that came out of this mace spray. The range only went a meager four feet, if that, with very little force behind it.
You get what you pay for I suppose.

The spray is very potent and streams out as a narrow jet. The top can be turned so the spray is off or on, which prevents you from accidentally pushing down on the nozzle. I think it's a good product for its purpose.

I was looking for a mace spray with a tight and long spray pattern. The pattern the Magnum OC-17 puts out is wide, short, and with a low density. I would rate it as poor.

I purchased these because we were going to Washington DC recently, a place where the 2nd amendment does not apply. It worked great when I tried it on my wife. (only kidding) We can only hope they are effective if ever called upon.
